Kristin and Kenny - Engagement
Location: Central West End
An Evening in the Central West End
We were originally scheduled to shoot Kristin and Kenny’s engagement session back in May. The first reschedule was due to weather, the second was due to an accident that almost took one of Kenny’s fingers. After a few months of recovery we finally made our trek out to the Central West End. We knew when we first met with these two and learned of Kenny’s bike, this is where we wanted to take them.
Kristin and Kenny are super laid back, easy to laugh and fun to be around. Kristin is infectious! Our approach to this session was to really show all of that. Very little posing and just capturing the natural way they were together. We began with them and the bike, before just moving around the CWE. I (Janell) had never really explored that area, and was so excited by all the photo opportunities down there. The fountain became a source of a lot of laughter (and sorry to the poor woman passing by that may have gotten splashed a bit!)
The Cup cupcake shop was our next stop for a treat. The peanut butter chocolate cup cake was amazing. After feeding a bite to each other, Kenny decided that Kristin should wear a bit of the frosting, but she managed to fight him off! Haha. These two met at the gym and workout together, so neither of them is weak. We wanted to make sure to incorporate that aspect of them also, so check out the gun show!
We wrapped up our session on the corner, as they gave each other a kiss while people and traffic moved past. Then a quick minute at the Chess Hall of Fame to finish the night.
I am sure their wedding in October will be even more fun than this was. Can’t wait!
