Mr. and Mrs. Joyce
A vintage car, beautiful flowers, emerald jewelry, old dairy, quaint church and great people created a wedding day to remember. Kendall and Connor's wedding was definitely a dream to be a part of. When her dad pulled up with the 54 Belair, Tony and I both got excited. Vintage cars are Tony's thing! The ceremony was beautiful, officiated by the groom's cousin. The couple left the ceremony in a shower of bubbles, and sped away in the Belair (after some great photos, of course).
When we arrived at the location they had arranged for wedding party portraits, my little photographer heart went "pitter, pat"! The old Pevely dairy was something I had driven past on a few occasions and always thought that it would make a great place for a portrait session, so this made me really happy. We had such a great wedding party to work with. Tony took the guys (and the car) for the groomsmen pictures and as you will see, they had WAY too much fun! Because I was occupied with the beautiful ladies, I didn't see what the guys were up to until we looked at the images later that night. I almost fell out of my chair laughing. How fun!! My ladies got in their share of silliness too, of course.
The reception was held at the Festus Elks club. The DJ kept the music hoppin, the food was great, and the Shoe Game was a riot! With the dance floor filled for most of the night, no one can say they didn't have fun.
Thank you, Kendall and Connor, for allowing us to be a part of such a special day. We wish you a lifetime of love and laughter!
